Jay Jay Okocha, my regret is not winning African Footballer of the year

When asked about any regret as a footballer, legendary footballer Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha said;
"If I have any regret that would be not winning The African Footballer of the Year. But then, I don't think I was meant to because I gave my best, but at the end, it wasn't good enough. However, I had a fantastic playing career"
When asked why no other footballer has been able to fill the vacuum of the No.10 position he left behind, Okocha replied;
"I don't want to sound arrogant but the truth it that there is something special about me. Sometimes, you have special players in a squad, when you lose them, it will take like five to ten years to get another set of such players. Not that the people trying to fill the vacuum are not good, they are great in their own way, but they are not just special. With time, Nigeria will get the special one that will fill the vacuum I left" He told Encomium

The brave father

Imagine that your only son has been twice by his primary school mate and came back reporting to you that he has was taught how to fight by his father who is now a teacher in same school. You got annoyed and started ranting how you are going to deal with the boys father for teaching him such a wicked skill, u kept ranting at home even your wife and neighbours were all begging you buh you refused and planned going to the school the next day to deal with the boy's father. Meanwhile your son is upright knowing that his father is goin to do something to the father of the son who beat him, you got to the school the next day and kept ranting for to the school Principal and teachers to provide that animal who taught his son a devilish act, they kept begging you cuz they know who the father is (karrate champion). Finally the teacher arrived with his son and your son told you; Daddy that is the man and his son. Now the man and his son are out of his car and you realised it was same man that was your senior in secondary school and had been a karate champion throughout his stay in school, he had also won several karate fights on TV leaving some of his opponent with broken arm and legs. Now the next step is for you to unleash the anger in you to this man like the way you ranted and the world is looking up to you. What will you do? For me i'll sing walking awa (Craig David)

The reason humans get "goosebumps" when they are cold, or under other circumstances?

George A.Bubenik, a physiologist and professor of zoology at the University of Guelph in Ontario, explains.
Imagine swimming in a lake on a hot summer day. The water is quite warm, but the wind is strong and the moment you leave the water you feel chilly and get "goosebumps." So you change clothes and move inside to warm up. You make a nice cup of tea, get under a blanket and switch on the radio. Suddenly, you hear a song from a long time ago, the song your grandmother used to sing to you when you were a child. Again, you feel a chill on your back and again, you get goosebumps. Why do such seemingly unrelated events elicit the same body reaction? The reason for this is the physiology of emotions.
Goosebumps are a physiological phenomenon inherited from our animal ancestors, which was useful to them but are not of much help to us. Goosebumps are tiny elevations of the skin that resemble the skin of poultry after the feathers have been plucked. (Therefore we could as well call them "turkeybumps" or "duckbumps.") These bumps are caused by a contraction of miniature muscles that are attached to each hair. Each contracting muscle creates a shallow depression on the skin surface, which causes the surrounding area to protrude. The contraction also causes the hair to stand up whenever the body feels cold. In animals with a thick hair coat this rising of hair expands the layer of air that serves as insulation. The thicker the hair layer, the more heat is retained. In people this reaction is useless because we do not have a hair coat, but goosebumps persist nevertheless.
In addition to cold, the hair will also stand up in many animals when they feel threatened--in a cat being attacked by a dog, for example. The elevated hair, together with the arched back and the sideward position the animal often assumes, makes the cat appear bigger in an attempt to make the dog back off. People also tend to experience goosebumps during emotional situations, such as walking down the aisle during their wedding, standing on a podium and listening to a national anthem after winning in sports, or even just watching horror movies on television. Quite often a person may get goosebumps many years after a significant event, just by thinking about the emotions she once experienced, perhaps while listening to the romantic song to which she danced many years ago with the love of her life.
The reason for all these responses is the subconscious release of a stress hormone called adrenaline. Adrenaline, which in humans is produced in two small beanlike glands that sit atop the kidneys, not only causes the contraction of skin muscles but also influences many other body reactions. In animals, this hormone is released when the animal is cold or facing a stressful situation, preparing the animal for flight-or-fight reaction. In humans, adrenaline is often released when we feel cold or afraid, but also if we are under stress and feel strong emotions, such as anger or excitement. Other signs of adrenaline release include tears, sweaty palms, trembling hands, an increase in blood pressure, a racing heart or the feeling of 'butterflies' in the stomach.

My encounter with a Nigerian Milltary man (Army)

Actually this happened about 3 yrs ago along Awolowo road in Ikeja, Lagos. I was so worried and was in a hurry to get to the bus stop Cuz it was getting dark, suddenly a man walked into my way and collided with my leg, with the hurry in me I didn't take to notice cuz I was all about getting to the bus stop on time.

The next thing I noticed was someone pulling me back with a strong voice. *You no dey see road abi u no fit say sorry to me?* I was kinda vexed with dat word cuz I was the one who needed the apology but didn't mind cuz sum important tinz in life are not necessary, looking up to the person that pulled me back I saw a man dressed in the Nigerian Military uniform, knowing how aggressive they are and always wanting respect from the civilians I pleaded and told him I'm sorry and then he left me.

Knowing my right and couldn't fight for it is not to fight a military man otherwise I'm goin to spend the rest of the weekend in the nearest hospital. Lol... Put ur legs in ma shoes wat will u do?
